The Forecast: Glimpse for Miss Universe 2014

Hey, Folks. The Miss Universe Fever is on! Is our Philippine bet Mary Jean Lastimosa ready to be crowned this January 25th in Doral, Miami? As one of her avid fanatic and follower, she's very capable of bringing home the crown this year. And this inspires me to write up this article aligned with my personal insights with the upcoming pageant. I won't be biased and will be very truthful with this write up.

Miss Universe Philippines Mary Jean Lastimosa faces great pressure following the country’s four consecutive runners-up finishes in the Miss Universe pageant. 

Her humble beginning started in Mindanao, Philippines. MJ Lastimosa is from North Cotabato, Mindanao in the southern part of the country where she was raised in a very religious household. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mindanao.Lastimosa is a fitness advocate and owns a fitness/spa center in Davao City. In 2014, PETA named her as the Philippines Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity.

With her persevering training with BPCI and from other beauty experts, MJ composed herself and allow confidence be her foundation for the Miss Universe Pageant. 

Personally, I've known her quite a bit since she's a proud Dabawenya. Her three attempts at Bb. Pilipinas was a tough experience. She also built her own reputation and credibility in joining local pageants in Mindanao. And from all of these pageants, she's always a one to beat contender.

This year, she battles for the Miss Universe crown and everyone is eager for her to bring home the crown.

Watching the Preliminary Competition, I have a strong assessment that she's capable of qualifying for the semi-finals or top 15. I know that she's a true stunner in the Swimsuit Competition making her qualified again for the top 10. After showcasing her elegance and personality in the Evening Gown, she shall be included to the Top 5 and will include Philippines once again in the most country with top places in the pageant history.

If political view will be considered for this year's pageant, I could say that MJ will just make it as a runner up. Precisely not the winner. But if performance will really matter during the finals then our very own bet will be probably hailed as the queen. Fingers Crossed!

For God's unique plans for our dearest MJ Lastimosa, we wish her all the best for the crown. I personally pray for her success and soon make history on Philippine Pageant.

For this year's prediction, I come up with my own list of candidates whom I believe the strongest ladies to qualify in the top 5. Here's my personal forecast and views.

To complete my full list of Top 5, above are my predicted ladies for the crowns. Together with Miss Philippines, she'll be joined with Russia, Columbia, Jamaica & Spain.

As of my final choice this year, Yulia Alipova of Russia is Miss Universe 2015!
